Let me preface this review by saying that I'm a very helicopter/ anxious dog mom. I am nervous about leaving my dog for the day, let alone for several. But Pawsitively Paws (and Malina and Magdalena) were amazing! They were communicative, on time, and provided detailed report cards and photos after every walk and overnight. Magdalena was great with my dog. I didn't have to worry about whether someone would show up, and it was great to know there was a backup person just in case (compared to hiring just one individual). I knew my dog was in good hands (and that he was doing just fine without me) and was able to actually relax and not worry! I highly recommend!

Our pet sitting visits are available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and can be scheduled for cats, dogs, and other household pets who need in-home care while you’re away.
Visit rates are based on length, with additional fees for after-hours, weekend, and holiday visits.

Pawsitively Paws can often support oral medications, basic topical medications, mobility support, and certain special care routines depending on your pet’s needs and staff availability. Some more advanced care, including insulin, inhalers, and post-surgery care may be possible on a case-by-case basis.
Because your pet’s safety matters, we do not provide vet-tech-level care, and we may decline services that fall outside our team’s current capability. If your pet has medical needs, we’ll discuss them carefully before confirming care so everyone feels confident about the plan.
Please note: Insulin, inhalers, and advanced medical care are available only when we have a qualified team member available and the care falls within our comfort and capability level.

Yes. Our dog sitting visits are ideal for dogs who need meals, walks, backyard play time, companionship, and medication support when appropriate. We’ll follow your instructions and tailor the visit to your dog’s routine, energy level, and care needs.
What does each pet sitting visit include?
Each visit may include feeding, fresh water, walks or potty breaks for dogs, litter box care for cats, medication support when appropriate, playtime, companionship, and cleanup of pet-related messes that we notice. You’ll also receive a personalized visit summary with photos and notes about how your pets did.
What are your pet sitting service hours?
Pet sitting visits are available between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Additional fees may apply for after-hours, weekend, and holiday visits.
Can I request a specific arrival time?
Yes. While we may not always be able to accommodate the exact time requested, we’ll do our best to schedule your pet's visit as close to your preferred time as possible. Once the visit is booked, your sitter is required to arrive within 14 minutes before or after the scheduled time. This helps us provide dependable timing while still allowing for traffic, weather, and the realities of caring for pets throughout the day.
Can you care for multiple pets in the same household?
Yes. We regularly care for multi-pet households with cats, dogs, and other pets. Visit length may vary depending on the number of pets, care instructions, feeding routines, and medication needs.
Can you give medication?
We can often support basic medications depending on the pet, medication type, and staff availability. Insulin, inhalers, mobility support, and more advanced care are reviewed case by case. We do not provide vet-tech-level care.
Do you offer overnight pet sitting?
Yes, but overnight pet sitting is a separate service and is currently available only in our Oregon and Washington service areas. If your pet needs someone to stay in your home overnight, visit our Overnight Pet Sitting page for details.
