Pawsitively Paws provides in-home overnight pet sitting in our Oregon and Washington service areas. This is not boarding, and your pets do not come to our home or a facility. Your sitter stays in your home overnight, follows your pets’ evening and morning routines, and helps them feel cared for while you’re away.
Overnight visits take place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM. If your pets need walks, potty breaks, meals, medication, or companionship during the day, additional daytime visits can be scheduled separately.
How Overnight Pet Sitting Works

Your pets stay in their own familiar space, and your sitter stays overnight in your home.
This is not boarding
Your pets do not stay in a sitter’s home, kennel, or facility. This service is designed for families who want their pets cared for in their own home.

Your sitter is there for the evening, overnight, and morning routine.
Daytime care is scheduled separately
If your pets need midday walks, potty breaks, meals, medication, or extra companionship, we can add daytime pet sitting visits to your care plan.

Additional daytime visits can be scheduled separately between overnight stays so your pets receive the right level of care throughout your trip. Some families add one midday visit, while others book several daytime visits depending on their pet’s age, routine, and care needs.

Medical & Special Care
Some pets need extra support during overnight care, and we’re happy to talk through what your pet requires before service begins.
Pawsitively Paws can often support oral medications, basic topical medications, mobility support, and certain special care routines depending on your pet’s needs and staff availability. Some more advanced care, including insulin, inhalers, and post-surgery care, may be possible on a case-by-case basis.
Because your pet’s safety matters, we do not provide vet-tech-level care, and we may decline services that fall outside our team’s current capability. If your pet has medical needs, we’ll discuss them carefully before confirming care so everyone feels confident about the plan.
Please note: Insulin, inhalers, and advanced medical care are available only when we have a qualified team member available and the care falls within our comfort and capability level.

No. Overnight pet sitting is not boarding. Your pets stay in your home, and a Pawsitively Paws sitter stays in your home overnight. Your pets do not go to a sitter’s house, kennel, or boarding facility.

Yes. Overnight care can be a great option for pets who feel stressed by boarding, do not enjoy group settings, have detailed routines, or feel more comfortable staying in their own home.
Is overnight pet sitting all-day care?
