From a young age, I have been passionate about working with animals. At just twelve years old, I began volunteering for the Berkeley Humane Society, walking dogs and assisting in the cat rooms. Throughout middle school, I dedicated my free time to volunteering at the Milo Foundation, and I soon began fostering dogs and cats who needed extra care and attention to thrive.

In 2016, I graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. During my time at Chico State, I completed internships at the university's dairy as well as its sheep and goat unit. I also interned at the Kirshner Wildlife Foundation, where I worked closely with wildlife and exotic animals.

After graduation, I traveled to South Africa to volunteer at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, further expanding my hands-on experience with animal care on an international level.
